Don’t do this. The line up was an ego trip. Lotus could never build those cars. He knew they could never build those cars. When he left they hadn’t built a single one of those cars, they never will. The 5 cars turned heads, but that’s all they were ever meant to do. He wanted people to look at him.

He’s an idiot, his bullshit plan hurt Lotus more than it helped, and Lotus is a company that doesn’t need any more hurt.

100% agree with everything you said, but the ability to get to a level that they could have a corporate design language, have high margin mega-sedans that pay the bills meant that Lotus could finally stop clinging to the edge of the cliff by its fingernails.
